It is not difficult to maintain a banner and store it, but maintenance really determines its lifespan. If you are planning to mount your banner outdoors, you are better off getting an extra durable 18-ounce vinyl, and even get wind slits, if your banner will be placed against a fence, or hung freely in the air, where the wind will blow against it. You can consider ordering reinforced corners along with your banner if you are planning to order grommets to hang your banner, as the reinforced corners will ensure extra support to the corners of your banner, and prevent ripping. When storing your banner for later use, we recommend that you roll it and keep it away from dust and extreme heat, as opposed to folding it. When the banner is rolled as opposed to folded, you are preventing the banner from creasing. Though, if the banner is too large, and it is easier to fold over the roll, don’t stress out too much, you can always get rid of the creases when hanging or laying the banner flat, and by applying light heat to the banner, but not too close to it.
